Author Guidelines
To maintain the standard of academic writing in articles published by IJMPOG, authors are encouraged to read and follow these author guidelines carefully.
General Guidelines
- Manuscripts should follow the APA 7th Style for citation and referencing.
- To ensure consistency in citation and referencing, authors are strongly encouraged to use a reference management application such as Zotero or Mendeley.
- Submissions should report research conducted using rigorous qualitative methods, quantitative methods, or an appropriate combination of both. The methodology must be described in sufficient detail as part of the article.
- Submissions based on survey research should include a copy of the data collection instrument as an appendix.
- Manuscripts employing a case study approach should explain how the case findings may be generalized or transferred to other relevant contexts.
- Research articles should include an unstructured abstract of approximately 200-250 words, containing a concise description of the Objective, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Recommended Structure of Research Articles
- Introduction: Provides the background to the study, the research problem, and why the work was undertaken.
- Literature Review: Presents relevant literature, summarizes previous studies, identifies research gaps, and explains the contribution of the present study.
- Aims: States the purpose of the study and, where relevant, outlines the research questions or hypotheses.
- Methods: Explains how the study was conducted, including data collection and analysis procedures, in sufficient detail to allow replication.
- Results: Presents the principal findings of the study in a clear and concise manner.
- Discussion: Interprets the findings in relation to the broader literature, discusses implications, and acknowledges limitations.
- Conclusion: Summarizes the study and its main findings without introducing new information.
